Field work in Namibia
Digging a hole just for the camera?
I went to Namibia to help Katja Geißler for some field measurements (vegetation surveys, wilting points, specific leaf area) along a rainfall gradient for the OPTIMASS project. Also, I helped in a summer school in Waterberg that was about Experimental Design and Introduction to R statistical software (in the context of hydro-ecological savanna research).

I am a researcher in the Ecosystem Modelling department at the University of Göttingen in Germany. I am applying simulation modelling and empirical approaches to assist restoration of degraded ecosystems people rely on for their well-being.
